An important feature is the ability to cancel the complete process should the emergency be abated and distribution of emergency checks is cancelled. The emergency recovery process provides the ability to ‘undo’ updates performed to payroll files by this process.

• Soft coded controls contain promptable fields [F4] for ease in set up of control records for each employer.

• Provides soft coded control for entry of deduction code to be used for subsequent collection of emergency pay
• Captures work files used by the check printing programs. These files are later used by the ‘Disaster Recovery’ process to generate emergency pay.

• Creates the deduction for collection of emergency pay paid to employee by populating payroll’s ‘Mass Entry’ file [PYPME].
• Populates your payroll’s bank reconciliation file [PYPRC] with manual check data
• Generates general ledger entries and populates payroll’s ‘Accounting Transaction’ file [PYPAC] with general ledger entries. Process utilizes the account masking entered on the income control and employee home levels.
• Creates a historical record and provides an ‘Emergency Check Inquiry’ function for viewing of employees’ checks and direct deposits generated by this module
• Utilizes your payroll’s standard function ‘Extract Check Reconciliation Data’ to generate positive pay data [PYPAR] for transmission to the bank
• Custom function ‘Extract Emergency Direct Deposit’ populates your payroll’s direct deposit files [PYPDW & TRISAC]. Population of the direct deposit files allows you to use your standard function to transmit the direct deposit data to the bank.
• Provides the ability to ‘undo’ all file updates should the emergency be abated and normal payroll processing resumed.
• When regular payroll cycle processing is resumed - Provides safety factor by use of an exit program attached to the ‘before’ Release process that saves ‘Mass Entry’ data [PYPME] for each cycle.
• When regular payroll cycle processing is resumed - Provides the ability to restore Mass Entry data [PYPME] for cycles that were cancelled after the ‘Release’ but before the final ‘Post & Print’.
